Their various educational programs aim to empower and produce the world’s future sustainability leaders. This incredible organization touches the lives of over 6,000 teenagers a year dealing with challenging lives and mental health issues. What is really unique about this organization is their hands-on approach to education. For example, their Chatham Green Project is a 400-acre living classroom. The Wilderness Foundation is also incredibly inclusive; for example, The ‘Down to Earth’ allotment project educates people with disabilities and mental health problems to grow their own food.
