Despite the many rumors swirling around the internet, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will not be making their Reality TV debut.
Last week, it was falsely reported by The Sun that the Royal couple had agreed to make an intimate reality show for Netflix as part of their production deal. The publication claimed that the Royal couple signed the deal which would allow a camera crew to follow them around for three months, documenting their charity work. However, a source close to the couple told Vanity Fair, the rumors were completely false, “The Duke and Duchess are not taking part in any reality shows†they said.
As true Meghan Markle fans, we obviously cannot get enough of the Duchess of Sussex. So, we were (a little) sad to find out that rumors for a Keeping Up with the Sussex type show were untrue. A spokesman for the couple announced, “The couple already has several projects in development, including an innovative nature docu-series and an animated series that celebrates inspiring women but we are not disclosing any of the programming slate at this time.”

According to the agreement, the couple is set to produce documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and even children’s programming.
Specifics regarding the Netflix deal, such as how much the two will be getting paid, were not disclosed. And although we may not be getting a Meghan and Harry reality series, we can expect to see the couple make some brief appearances according to Co-CEO at Netflix, Reed Hastings.
Whatever shows Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decide to produce for Netflix we will have popcorn in hand ready to binge watch.
