The Duchess of Sussex is the Ambassador for World Vision. World Vision is a Christian charity that works with children and families around the world to help them fight poverty and injustice.

When visiting Rowanda in 2016, Meghan Markle saw first-hand the work that this organization has done to help improve the lives of those in need, specifically, when it came to providing clean water. The World Vision organization quotes the Duchess, “It was an amazing experience, taking water from one of the water sources in the community and using it with the children to paint pictures of what they dream to be when they grow up. I saw that water is not just a life source for a community, but it can really be a source for creative imagination, and how lucky I am to have been a part of that.” See Meghan Markle talk about the organization in the full video below.
