Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Get Flirty in New Spotify Promo

It has been a busy week for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Not only did Meghan Markle make a surprise appearance on CNN’s Heroes on Sunday, but she also confirmed her first investment since leaving the Royal family. Today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made news once more by announcing an exclusive partnership with Spotify. That’s right, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex now have a podcast and the two got a adorably flirty in the promo- listen below!

The announcement came early Tuesday morning as Spotify released the 2 minute promo for the podcast which they are calling, Archewell Audio. The deal, which was struck between the Archewell Foundation and Spotify for an undisclosed amount, comes just months after the two announced an exclusive partnership with Netflix. The Royal couple will be producing a series of shows for the streaming giant- with no set release date yet.

According to the press release, the famous couple will “host and produce podcasts that build community through shared experience, narratives, and values.” The promo, which starts off with the couple introducing themselves as simply, “Harry and Meghan,” sheds some light on the loving relationship the two have as they share several flirty moments. The Duke and Duchess kick things off with some adorable, flirty banter, “Shall we, shall we start?” asks Harry, to which Markle responds “No, say it because it sounds really nice with your accent.” It is like you could almost hear Prince Harry blushing on the other side of the microphone. Prince Harry then goes on to practice saying “Archewell Radio” to which Markle gives the ultimate Valley-Girl response, “I MEAN.”

Shortly after the intro, the couple introduces what they will be discussing on their podcast which will be focus on spreading positivity, story-telling and shedding light on different perspectives. Markle states, “One of the things my husband and I have always talked about is our passion for meeting people and hearing their stories.” She goes on to explain that listening to other people’s stories allows you to understand where that person is coming from. The Royal couple, hopes to “bring forward different perspectives and voices that perhaps you haven’t heard before, and finding our common ground,” as explained by Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also hinted at their next episode which will be a Holiday Special. A released date is yet to be confirmed. The two signed off the podcast with Markle singing a little Holiday jingle and Prince Harry once more saying “Welcome to Archewell Radio” (accent and all). The best part, is the way Markle absolutely swoons over Prince Harry saying Archewell Radio with his accent, saying “Uuuuu he has a podcast voice!” The promo truly made the Royal couple feel more relatable than ever in just two minutes.
